For students between 16 and 18 years old in Taiwan, we may require parental consent before enrollment depending on the specific program. This aligns with local regulations regarding minors' contractual capacity.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Different types of data have different retention periods.

After you complete or leave a program, we retain your learning records for two additional years so you can request transcripts or certificates. Financial records stay for seven years to comply with Taiwan tax regulations. Marketing preferences and email communication logs are kept for three years unless you unsubscribe earlier.

When data reaches the end of its retention period, we securely delete or anonymize it. Deletion means the information is permanently removed from our active systems and backups. Anonymization means we strip out identifying details so the data can no longer be linked to you personally.

Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify active students by email and post a notice on our website homepage.
